We take pride in the fact that we hire, vet, and thoroughly train the best Clinical Specialists to deliver first-class patient in-home services.  

AMS Clinical Specialists:

  • are rigorously vetted prior to hire
  • have passed background and fingerprinting checks as required by state and federal law
  • are HIPAA certified
  • receive 6 hours of device training and 4 hours of document training prior patient visits
  • are bilingual
  • are available to their assigned patients 24/7
  • receive an additional 6 hours of CS Continuing Education per year to meet Accreditation requirements
  • provide patients with the 24-hour/After Hours contact line (1-800-330-7306)
  • contact assigned patients via phone within 3-7 days of the initial set-up visit to confirm that the patient
    is comfortable using the device and to inquire if any further assistance is needed
  • provides the patient with device instructions (as labeled on the device/box by the manufacturer) and a
    Patient Presentation Folder (AMS Welcome letter, Coronavirus Update, Information of Patient Rights
    Under HIPAA, MEDICARE DMEPOS SUPPLIER STANDARDS, and personal CS Business Card)
  • encourages patients to participate in the End-of-Service Patient Survey so that AMS can track patient
    satisfaction of devices and Clinical Specialist services
